I'd also like to support this application. I have worked with Julián since April 2011, and I can say that he is very responsive, and that he has a good understanding of the debian packaging. As pointed out by Ludovico, he is already DM which is a role that has made him face many situations that a regular DD has to. It would be really good to have him as a DD.
