Investigating, confirming, and appropriately setting the severity and status of a bug is not "nothing." Debian developers are not expected to be able to fix every bug in every piece of software they package, even release-critical bugs. If they were, we would have no need for upstreams, no? > 2. While this discussion has gotten more heated than it probably should be, what people are reacting to is an attack on someone for clearly expressing that they don't have time at the moment while maintaining the bug state accurately. This is *good* behavior that we should be *encouraging*; Michael Gilbert is not standing in the way of any resolution to this bug, and is doing everything he has time for. -- Russ Allbery ([email protected]) <http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/> -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
