The current status of Martijn Brummelen van is Debian Maintainer. Advocacy text: I've worked with Martijn for a few years now. As a package maintainer, he's done good and conscientious work that I've been sponsoring, quickly addressing any point for improvement that I would signal. He's also a regular participant in #debian-nl, showing an interest in Debian as a project, besides just maintaining his own packages. He has been a DM for over a year now, which worked fine.I think Martijn is a good asset to the project and should become a Debian Developer.
