Daniel actively maintains four packages of the yosys FPGA pipeline for something that feels like an eternity for me now - I just checked, his first upload was 1 1/2 years ago, but these are tricky packages that grant ample of opportunity to prove himself. And Daniel does very well, both technically and for how he is handling the interacting with the various upstreams. Daniel long stopped to need me as a sponsor, if he ever did. Technically I found him exceptionally capable and personally I trust him. A DD status will help the science- and electronics-teams to futher develop.
