I have been working with Matheus Polkorny on packages which are team-maintained by the Debian Security Tools Packaging Team. The first contact dates back to at least March 2025. He regularly packaged new upstream versions or prepared bug fixes. Where applicable he got in touch with upstream projects, e. g. to forward patches or to discuss issues. I reviewed/sponsored his work on the following packages: hashrat, autolog, shed, sucrack, medusa, hcxtools, sherlock (only review, upload done by someone else), vinetto, and wig. He also did the initial packaging of two additional (build) dependencies of the dnsrecon package. I reviewed/sponsored one of them (python-stamina). The latter happened in the context of the Debian Python Team. Judging from my interaction with him so far, I am convinced that he has the technical and social skills to become Debian Developer.
