Hi Sven, I've just built the package of findlib 0.7.1, I've also rebuilt packages shell, lablgtkmathview, camlimages and pcre so that they put shared objects in /usr/lib/ocaml/stublibs/.
Before uploading this stuff I think is better to have an ocaml packages which look in /usr/lib/ocaml/stublibs by default because I chose not to use dh_ocamlld to install stuff in stublibs directory. IMO is better to have this directory looked in by default directly from ocaml package. Let me know if you agree and when you can have a new ocaml package ready. BTW I've also noted a strangeness: after installing on my debian box new version of my packages I've noticed that old paths were not removed from /usr/lib/ocaml/ld.conf nor from /var/lib/ocaml/ld.conf even if postrm scripts of old packages were correct. Moreover I've tried to add /usr/lib/ocaml/stublibs to /etc/ocaml/ld.conf then I've executed ocaml-ldconf but nothing has changed in /usr/lib/ocaml/ld.conf I had to change it manually to try the new shared objects in /usr/lib/ocaml/stublibs. Is ocaml-ldconf working correctly? I'm using ocaml 3.04-13, actually I haven't ocaml-ldconf sources so I can't check until tomorrow.
