Ok, I've just understood my problem: the dvi files compiled long ago with an old advi.sty are _not_ compatible with a new advi. And recompiling with the newest advi.sty solves the issue. More precisely, I was amazed to see that advi 1.6.0-2 installed today was still complaining on my laptop about a missing advi.pro. Even without any mention of this filename in advi source code! After some code reading, it turned out that the name of these postscript prologue files (.pro) are in fact read in some part of the dvi. And my test dvi containing some pstricks was an old one, not recompiled since advi 1.4.0, hence asking for the old prologue name... Sorry for the annoyance, I should have tried to rebuild the dvi before complaining. Pierre Letouzey -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
