I would like to formally cancel my expulsion request. This is based upon the comments of the OCAML team, who feel that Sven is a valuable contributor. I felt my original request was valid after seeing how Sven acted within the kernel and d-i teams (and on IRC, and on various mailing lists such as -legal and -devel), but I was not aware of his OCAML team membership. I do not wish to negatively affect the OCAML team, and offer my apologies to them if I have done so. That said, if the OCAML folks had not stuck up for Sven, I feel the expulsion request would have been valid; everywhere else, Sven's behavior has been incredibly destructive. At this point, I intend to go through the process of having him removed from the kernel team. Unfortunately, based upon some of Sven's responses[0] to my request, I feel he still does not understand the reason why I'm taking such extreme measures against him. This is sad, but I've given up trying to explain it to him. I hope he continues to work with the OCAML team, but avoids getting into "discussions" with other developers until he can learn to control himself.
