Hi, I updated mikmatch to version 1.06. Besides the usual changes the package installs now also 2 mikmatch toplevels. There is a new patch, ocaml-3-12, for 3.12 compatibility. This patch should be removed for OCaml 4.00. The makefile patch has grown relatively big, I try to persuade the upstream author to incorporate some of it.
I discovered two test goals in the str and in the pcre subdirectory. The test in pcre seems to be broken but the test in str runs fine if ocamlopt is available. Nevertheless, I didn't enable this latter test, because I don't want to add even more makefile changes to make it run on bytecode only architectures.
