Hi, I updated package cmdliner, using the new upstream makefile. I was able to remove many overrides in debian/rules and the package would even build fine without any overrides, except that it then includes the opam file. Apart from patching Makefile, the only solution for excluding the opam file that I found, was to use dh_install --exclude..., which in turn requires and dh_auto_install in order to install in debian/tmp.
