We are still running very much on 'reduced power' since the break in to the Debian machines. We have no CVS repository, we only just got access to gluck, where the OOo packages master repository is hosted and I still have to go through the repository and audit it and all the maintenance scripts. I was only able to make an upload so quickly because it was already ready to go before the break in. > it doesn't annoy me anymore as I know how to fix it but I'd like to see > this bug closed :) > PS: don't see any personnal attack here, I love the job you are doing: I > just want to know if it has been forgoten or if a real problem exists. Thanks. Well, the information about the missing directory was only posted on November 2, and that was too late into the cycle of -3 (which I just uploaded) to get included. And your estimates of available manpower are way too much :) We don't have any 'localized packagers maintainers' for -l10n-*. Most of the work is done by Rene & myself in our spare time along with the rest of the packages. Anyway, on to the bug itself. I think this must be one of those strange localised-but-not-localised directories, that gets duplicated into every language upstream. Because of our language packs we don't have this massive duplication, and the directory is empty. I guess a fairly quick fix will be to create a soft link in each language pack to the english bitmaps directory. I'll try and get it in for -4. Thanks for the reminder about the bug, Chris
