Okay, a patch for the OPENOFFICE_ORG_1_1_3 branch is here: http://www.gnome.org/~martink/2004/patches/debian-openoffice.org-python2.2-uno.diff this, together with ooo-build HEAD should produce a working python2.2- uno package. You have to disable the writerperfect patches in ooo-build or untar the libwpd tarball in the source dir from ooo.ximian.com (or properly implement this) to build ooo-build HEAD for Debian ATM.
