No, it doesn't. Because -nologo would just omit the complete showing of the splash whereas -no-ooplash is for using something else but *does* show the splash > The option "-no-oosplash" is not documented in ooffice(1), whereas > "-nologo" is. Because -no-oosplash is a ooo-build addition which you should not call youself. it is a hack to work around problems of OOo returning too early and preventing OOo to get the file opened from a MUA "stolen" under his feet because the MUA thinks OOo exited properly after you viewed it.
