Package: libreoffice Followup-For: Bug #841253 Dear Maintainer,
I only want to add information to this bug. I'm following Testing using Aptitude User Interface as the package manager. As previously stated by other users, Aptitude warns about a broken dependency when trying to update "libreoffice" from 1:5.2.2~rc2-2 to 1:5.2.3~rc1-4 The first suggested solution from the automatic resolver system is to remove the annoying package "libreoffice-sdbc-firebird". This triggers the removal of several packages some of which I found reported in another bug (#842316). The 11th suggested solution is to keep the current version of libreoffice. After noticing the warn, I reviewed the changelog of the package where I found something like: "Disable firebird ..." followed by different reasons. I'm not the one who has to decide whether this is a bug or not. I don't know enough about package managermt to suggest a solution either. What I think is very bizarre is having a Recommended disabled package. It doesn't compute!
