After going through the list, Keycloak <https://keycloak.org> was something
which impressed me. I shall give it a try sometime.
However, all of them do a lot of work and are much configurable. I wanted
to develop something with sensible defaults and fewer customizations.
It should not be dealing with authorization (neither RBAC, UBAC, nor LDAP
etc.). It should deal with only the authentication part.

That's my opinion. Debian might have its own set of requirements.

Well, I would still want to figure out why the same is available on the
ideas page. Are there any specific requirements which are not fulfilled by
current tools?
