Just saw this idea.
I'm interested in working on this since it practically affect all of us as
students.
Could you give me a heads up on the steps to be followed next by students
interested in GSoC so I could quickly develop an application/wizard using
PyQt that the current batch could use ?

Current applicants could pull the wizard from a GitHub repo as and when we
add more steps (pushed commits) to the wizard.
