Hello , During week 6 I was assigned to work on libscout [1],apk-tools and fdroid-tools. I started my work updating libscout. There were few errors with the source code which were reported to the package repository [2]. We are awaiting a response from them and start proceeding updating it once we are done finalising the idea to patch the source code. Building libscout is almost done once we have the source code changed or if we proceed with the idea of patching it up.
Later part of week 6 I was given the task to update the packages which weren't building and update the makefiles with the Makefile Parser. So I started my work with libnativehelper which was failing as shown in [3]. Libnativehelper in turn needed the latest(testing or unstable) version of system-extras and system-core. So I thought I should give a try building the system-core(testing and unstable).
