I have written a dmenu version of the Click To Dial pop-up window, and I distribute it in case anyone finds it interesting. It implements the basic paradigm, but it does not substantially validate phone numbers, nor does not have the integrations that our Click to Dial students have written on this summer.
Run something like `ddial 123456789`.
