Hi, as most of you know I recently took over as lintian maintainer. Lintian has a handy check that tries to figure out if you use a perl module from another package but neglect to depend on it. Problem is, there is no way to determine what package a perl module came from. Further, lintian may be checking a package on a machine where neither the package or any of its dependencies are installed.
