Just been trying to work out wtf is going on with libdbd-sqlite-perl. Seems that DBD::SQLite has now migrated to sqlite3, but that libdbd-sqlite-perl has stayed at sqlite2 by actually packaging DBD::SQLite2 rather than DBD::SQLite.
This seems to me to be at least crying out for an explanation, of why something so apparently painful and wrong actually isn't, on this list, so that it will go into this list's archives and be easily found by anyone else who looks at it and thinks "WHY?".
