Could someone people look at this and tell me if dh_perl or lintain is at
fault here?

Subject: Bug#44425: debhelper: dh_perl should create proper depends lines
From: Craig Small <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

X-Mailer: bug 3.2.2

Package: debhelper
Version: 2.0.40
Severity: normal

I use dh_perl for my perl dependencies and then check the package with lintian.
It seems the two have differening opinions on what is the right way to do
things. So either dh_perl needs fixing or lintian.

W: dh-make: perl-script-needs-dependency
"perl5|perl5-thread|perl-5.004|perl-5.005|perl-5.005-thread" usr/bin/dh_make
use Getopt::Long

dh_make puts this in debian/substvars
perl:Depends=perl5
