Package: libdbd-pg-perl Version: 0.93-2 Severity: normal [cc: debian-perl as an example of binary incompatibility between Perl 5.005_03 and 5.6.0.]
The DBD::Pg now in testing seems to run across a wrinkle in the Perl upgrade. % perl -MDBD::Pg -e0 Can't load '/usr/lib/perl5/5.005/i386-linux/auto/DBD/Pg/Pg.so' for module DBD::Pg: /usr/lib/perl5/5.005/i386-linux/auto/DBD/Pg/Pg.so: undefined symbol: Perl_no_modify at /usr/lib/perl/5.6.0/DynaLoader.pm line 200. at -e line 0 Compilation failed in require. BEGIN failed--compilation aborted. % perl -v This is perl, v5.6.0 built for i386-linux [snip] I presume that this only affects testing, because you have probably recompiled DBD::Pg against 5.6.0 in unstable. But I thought you might like to know. If you could throw a recompile into testing, it woudl be appreciated :-) Andrew -- System Information Debian Release: testing Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux pimlott 2.2.18+ipsec+raid #2 Sat Jan 6 11:18:24 EST 2001 i586
