I am presently working on packages for Perl 5.6.1 and would like to drop
the compatibility directories from @INC which are included to cope with
packages built with the perl-5.005 and perl-5.6 packages.

At present, there would appear to be ten packages which install modules
to /usr/lib/perl5/5.005:

    freewrl libalias-perl
    libcdk-perl liblockdev1-perl
    libsql-statement-perl perl-tk
    libterm-readkey-perl libmail-cclient-perl
    libplot-perl libcgi-pm-perl

of those, libcgi-pm-perl is installed into a directory which isn't in
the current @INC at all. Bugs will be filed on these packages, and this
directory will be dropped.

There are a further twenty-four packages installed into
/usr/lib/perl5/5.6:

    ipchains-perl libapache-request-perl
    libcdb-file-perl libchatbot-eliza-perl
    libcorba-orbit-perl libhtml-mason-perl
    libhtml-template-perl libimage-size-perl
    libio-stringy-perl libnet-hotline-perl
    libnet-irc-perl libsufary-perl
    libtext-kakasi-perl libunicode-map8-perl
    libunicode-string-perl libxml-parser-perl
    libmime-base64-perl libpgperl
    htag libmime-perl
    netcdf-perl libtext-iconv-perl
    axkit libhtml-embperl-perl

Wishlist bugs will be filed on these packages, and the directory may be
dropped, depending on how many remain at time of packaging.

Regards,
