Please shut up. In order to change the status quo, you need to come up with a positive reason for doing so (in this case, an example of a /etc/init.d script that definitely should not be a conffile might be nice). Saying ``I think we should change X, because I cannot think of a reason not to'' is a waste of all our time. Cheers, Phil.
