Oh, I agree: we cannot cater to the more complex setups out
there out of the box. However, even there, I think coming disabled by
default is a good thing.
I just wanted to help what maybe a majority of users out
there: people who do not really feel confotable with editing scripts,
the proposal takes care of them.
I think that you'll find that multi-ppp link machines are a
very small minority; and the admins of these machines already know
ppp well enough to hack the system for their own setups anyway.
As someone said, try to make the most common case
easier.
