I have been trying to mount flash cards and found out they are msdos formated. But when I mount
# mount -t msdos /dev/sda /mnt/x
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sda, missing codepage or other error In some cases useful info is found in syslog - try dmesg | tail or so
In OS X I know it is a msdos formated. Can someone help shed some light on this subject.

Hi,
does your kernel support pc bios partition type (CONFIG_MSDOS_PARTITION)? Have you tryed vfat filesystem....think that's the default for flash cards and usb sticks...
