im not complaining. Mac mini seems to be aimed at just getting macosx on peoples desktops. It doesnt ship with a keyboard, mouse or monitor and they are making noise about how it will use your existing peripherals.
they havent replaced their existing lines, just added a new one to try and make money from a different nice market. ie, those of us that cant afford g5's and usually buy old mac gear off ebay. ;)

Yes, other places have reported that. Some have even reported exactly which model it is. Apple probably chose it for its low price and low power. I'm not sure why some folks have gotten so upset about the slow drive -- Apple is going for a low price point, after all, not catering to people who need higher performance.
