Boot to the OpenFirmware prompt by holding down Command-O-F (I think; you may have to look that up) and then do the following, where hd:9 would be whatever your boot partition should be. For example, /dev/hda9 is hd:9:
0 > setenv boot-device hd:9,yaboot 0 > boot
Once back in, update /etc/yaboot.conf and run ybin -v.
