So you're trying to play back a video you made yourself? If so, just use some of the more open codecs, like Ogg Vorbis for audio, and perhaps MPEG2 or XVID for video. If you're making movies in windows, it'll probably default to codecs that lock you into microsoft s. -- Lee.
