What chipset does it say in /proc/asound/cards? > When I listen music with mplayer/rhythmbox/ogg123/... after a random > period (can vary from 5secs to 20mins) the sound device just blocks and > the sound stops, I have to quit the app and restart it to have sound > again (for a short while)... Are you using ALSA or OSS drivers or ALSA OSS emulation? I have not been able to reproduce this sofar, using Snapper chipset and ALSA drivers. But I am on ALSA 1.0.9rc1. I think the ALSA version has changed between 2.6.10 and 2.6.11. Could you compare /proc/asound/version for both kernels? Could be your alsa-libs need to be upgraded... -- Martin -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
