Hello I post here earlyer about slow 3D acceleration on Pegasos debian, an now somebody told me debian on pegasos with xf86 won't work fully with 3D, so someone told me to use xorg instead of xfree86 so i would get much more fps in 3D rendering. I got about 230 fps (glxgears) with xfree86 with my Radeon 9200 AGP forced into PCI mode with direct rendering enabled.
The xorg.conf and XF86Config-4 files are the same, so thats not the problem. Now i installed xorg and now glxgears gets about 99 fps and X won't use direct rendering because: (EE) RADEON(0): [agp] AGP failed to initialize. Disabling the DRI. ... (WW) RADEON(0): Option "ForcePCIMode" is not used ... (II) RADEON(0): Direct rendering disabled ... Help .. tnx -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
