Yes, it works just fine. You can check some of my posts regarding an accelerator card that I installed on my PowerMac 9500/180MP on this list's archives. The card is a Newertech G3/400 MHz with 512KB of L2 cache builtin. The only thing that I didn't know that easily was how to enable the l2 cache, but a quick experimentation soon revealed how to enable that.
