Well, I can't imagine the necessary dial up software not being in the base file, but you can always dl it to an exchange partition and install it from there jik.... AFAIK a kernel is a kernel is a kernel....I compiled my own for my beige g3 (after the install), but I can't see a situation in which the kernel you have working for linuxppc(a recent version) wouldn't work for debianppc...
