Has anyone got any ideas what is causing this problem and/or how to solve it.� It is a little anoying and figure that it can't be good for the hardware.

My powerbook makes clicking and popping sounds.� I *think* it only
happened after I installed XFree86 4.0b.� I was hoping that 4.0.1 would
fix it but it hasn't.� I am using kernel-2.2.17pre5.
