I have tried to boot an RS/6000 Series 7248 Model 43P-133 (PREP) both over the network (bootp) and with a floppy. The system gets to a certain point and then prints the following message to the screen over-and-over:
ncr53c810-0: restart (scsi reset). SCSI host 0 abort (pid 0) time out - resetting. SCSI bus is being reset for host 0 channel 0. ncr53c8xx-reset: pid=0 reset_flags=2 serial_number=### serial_number_at_timeout=### ### ==> increments by 1 This is a well known and documented problem: http://lists.linuxppc.org/lists/linuxppc-workstation Is there a (Debian) work-around for this?
