There was a bit of a discussion about this on the linuxppc list. The general consensus there was "it's too complicated, go and buy a localtalk to ethernet bridge or an ethernet to parallel box. They are slightly more expensive, but easy to set up and they WORK". However, one person managed to get PowerPrint printing half a page before it froze. He posted a copy of his printcap and his filter. I could post them up here if people don't object. So it seems to work a bit.
