Sorry, but no Gigabit here.... According to dmesg, my TiBook has a Broadcom BCM5221 PHY, of which you can find the spec here: http://www.broadcom.com/products/5221.html Most interesting is that it has an auto-MDIX feature, i.e. it can detect if RX and TX are inverted. So, no need for a crossover cable if you want to connect the TiBook to another computer. Alas, it's only a 10/100 device; no Gigabit...
