Install Disk Partitions

I have about 7GB disk space available on my G4...can anybody give me 
a good partition breakdown for size of root, home, usr, opt etc. when 
installing Debian 2.2 r2. It seems a bit confusing with all the 
different partitions as to what size is correct for my useage. I will 
be using it for home use only, no server or network.
This will be on the master drive. On the slave drive is OSX
