i would like to do that, i was going to when i noticed openbsd
supported powerpc, but like i said it saw my scsi card said `wtf is
that!' and commited sukupu...

yes i see now reason why {net,open}BSD cannot use the same 800K
Apple_Bootstrap partition.
porting ofpath is another matter... it completely depends on linux'
/proc/device-tree and some other linux specific /proc cruft. if *bsd
exports most of the same information into /kern (they correctly
believe that /proc is for processes, not a dumping ground for random
shi*)
ybin would be trivial to port to BSD, i already take great efforts to
not depend on any GNUisms and stick to straight posix.
i don't suppose anyone would be willing to send me a current netbsd
CD? assuming it supports blue g3s with an adaptec 2930CU ? my
internet connection consists of some tin cans and string so it takes
quite a long time to download little things like OSes...

i would like to get ybin ported, ofpath would be nice, but
significantly harder (it would probably have to be 100% rewritten,
that is assuming you can get access to the device-tree from BSD at all)
right now i am finishing up yabootconfig...
