Hi,

        I have no way of generating the proper rules file changes, nor
 of testing them when I am done. The accepted practice is for porters
 working on the arch to create a /usr/share/kernel-package/rules and
 send me a diff after ensuring that version works. 

        As it stands, there is little I can do about this.
