This is a nubus machine (from before Apple switched to a PCI bus). This will make things somewhat harder, since the Linux kernel doesn't normally support such machines. There are patches to run Linux on nubus PowerMacs, and you can find a lot more info here: http://nubus-pmac.sourceforge.net/
