Hi all! I have a problem with the graphical OF-menu in new-world G4. The box has two HD's, both with bootstrap ok if booting from the OF-prompt.
printenv boot-device gives: ultra1:9,\\yaboot hd:,\\:tbxi I find two possible explanations: (which might be far away from beeing true anyway :-/ ) 1.) Would it be possible that hd:,\\:tbxi for the [EMAIL PROTECTED] containing bootstrap on hda9 and macos tbxi on hda14 is causing the hang-up? If so, is there any possibility to erase only hd:,\\:tbxi (without using set-defaults, because I fear it returns to Apples defaults which cause me to use the Apple-Restore CD for getting the better resolution) 2.) I changed the original CD/DVD with a Plextor CD-RW. It is possible to boot from the CD but takes a longer time. Maybe this drive _irritates_ OF. If there is a bootable CD in this drive, the OF-setup doesn't reach the step, where I get a button for the CD-drive. If that's true, is there a chance to change this? Thanks again for your patience!
