Ciao a tutti, I have two little troubles using the dmasound module on an iBook old version and a kernel from benh.
The first trouble is about the mixer and the sound level (I remember some messages about this but I cannot find them): I have the dev in /dev/mixer with the right permissions but I cannot get it working [leandro: ~]$ ls -l /dev/mixer* crw-rw---- 1 root audio 14, 0 Apr 15 09:38 /dev/mixer crw-rw---- 1 root audio 14, 16 Apr 15 09:38 /dev/mixer1 crw-rw---- 1 root audio 14, 32 Apr 15 09:38 /dev/mixer2 crw-rw---- 1 root audio 14, 48 Apr 15 09:38 /dev/mixer3 [leandro: ~]$ groups leandro adm disk dialout audio dip So I cannot set the volume! The second trouble is about the sleep mode: when I wake up my iBook from sleeping the sound become noisy. I tried to rmmod the module and then to modprobe again but it was not useful.
