I grabbed the kernel source package from http://www.hadess.net/files/ppc/ibook2/ and compiled it and sound works... The patches seem to have already been applied to the kernel source debs there. I think there are binaries too.
Didnt get a chance to try gatos yet... Got caught up in a ton of stuff this weekend.. Ill post my results when i do figure out how to make the AV port work.
