Aha! That was the reason I had the dreaded Oops on "my" old
PowerMac when I tried installing one of the kernel-images two
weeks ago (it was, after all, my first steps in a new
architecture until I had enough resources to compile my own).
Thinking of that, in my very first kernel compilation, I used
the config file that came with the Debian package to help me
with the choices I had to use to compile the kernel.
