Hi,
Has anyone else on this list blown their iBook (2002) internal speakers,
just by moving the alsaplayer slider above 1% (yes, one percent.) This
happens only with -o alsa (not -o oss) btw. My machine is going to
repair next week, and I just wanted to warn you about this in case you
are mucking around with ALSA like I did for the past few days.
Note that I've set alsamixer to 10% on output volume for both speakers
before hand. Even though, this was totally ignored and the output level
was way to high for my hears and apparently the hardware... :-(
