No need to paraphrase, the log is located at /var/log/XFree86.0.log Probably, you need to set your mouse device to /dev/input/mice in the /etc/X11/XF86Config file. However, I'm pretty confident that's not going to be enough. Powermac support in X was pretty shaky in the potato distribution you installed, it would behoove you to upgrade to woody. To do that, please try man apt-get or man aptitude and look for dist-upgrade. -- *------v--------- Installing Debian GNU/Linux 3.0 --------v------* | <http://www.debian.org/releases/woody/installmanual> | | debian-imac (potato): <http://debian-imac.sourceforge.net> | | Chris Tillman [EMAIL PROTECTED] | | May the Source be with you | *----------------------------------------------------------------* -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
