I'm not sure if others have seen it already, but I was
        browsing the web and saw that binary drivers for the builtin
        softmodems in recent Mac's is available:

        http://www.mbsi.ca/cnxtlindrv/
        
        The only problem that I see is that the tar.gz file that I
        downloaded has an md5sum that doesn't match the one advertised
        in the site (despite having the appriate size). I have not
        tried it yet (I'm not with the computer right now).

        Has anybody had any problems similar to this one?
