Unfortunately I don't have time to test some installation booting CD with your latest kernel (2.4.20-pre11-ben0) right now, but problem when my 600Mhz 14" iBook don't see HDD with CD inserted into Combo drive is really fixed... thank you it was annoying to see "Kernel panic: VFS: Unable mount root fs ..." and after some time thinking about what could happen with my hard drive remember, that I forget to eject CD ;), as it was with all kernels up to 2.4.19-ben0 at least (it's the oldest kernel I've in my yaboot config) P.S. 2.4.20-pre7-ben0 works fine too -- Valentin Podlovchenko, ____/| <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> \ o.O| Tel. +7(095) 787-2058 (ext. 1245) =(_)= Fax. +7(095) 787-2056 PGP key: 0x54FAFB96 U
