As I paint myself more and more as a newbie -- is there a "way" I'm supposed to add the "alias eth0 gmac" into the modules.conf? I just used nano, and typed it in at the bottom, ignoring the warnings not to modify the file... Should it have gone in a specific place in the file? (Ben, you mentioned order, so I assume it matters what order things are loaded -- I'm not sure if you meant in that file...) I can't figure out why physically putting the airport card in kills my ethernet port. I figured at the most it would make one of them eth0 and the other eth1...
